部分相容性試驗要求要在粘結材料上刷底涂才能保證工程需要。硅烷改性聚氨酯密封膠的使用有助于原來不易粘結的表面產生強而持續的密封粘結。在實際工作中不但應按照試驗結果使用膠，提供或指明的硅烷改性聚氨酯密封膠，更重要的是按照硅烷改性聚氨酯密封膠的使用方法嚴格操作。否則，材料與膠的粘結性將依然達不到設計使用要求，從而相容性試驗便失去了它應有的意義。
在使用硅烷改性聚氨酯密封膠過程中尤其應注意以下幾點:
(1)必須在硅烷改性聚氨酯密封膠完全干化后(具體干化時間參照不同廠家提供的參數)才能涂刷結構膠，否則會使其粘結能力下降。
(2)需控制硅烷改性聚氨酯密封膠的用量，薄而且均勻的一層覆蓋在待粘表面上即可。另外，硅烷改性聚氨酯密封膠的使用，改善材料之間的粘結性是有一定限度的，并不是用量越大粘結性就一定越好，更不是在所有基材上都使用硅烷改性聚氨酯密封膠都能改善其粘結效果的。
(3)應使用硬毛刷或干凈的不脫毛棉布浸蘸硅烷改性聚氨酯密封膠，以防止由于不干凈的涂抹工具對注膠面形成二次污染或改變硅烷改性聚氨酯密封膠的化學性質。
(4)由于現在由廠家提供的硅烷改性聚氨酯密封膠多為揮發性溶液，因而應將足夠的硅烷改性聚氨酯密封膠先倒入一個干凈的小容器內，防止其變干或水分混入其中導致硅烷改性聚氨酯密封膠化學性質發生變化，影響其使用效果。http://www.inaodoi.com/
